Eastern Wind tells the story of Mu’min, a software engineer, in the year 2072. Mu’min has to make the biggest decision of his life, while going through an identity/faith crisis, following the death of his father. In a world where all the major signs of the apocalypse have come to pass, the eastern wind virus threatens to wipe out humanity. The only way out is a vaccine produced, and distributed exclusively by the Dajjal Foundation. A foundation aimed at carrying out the mission of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) and eradicating religion, by vaccine selection. People who want the vaccine must join a chapter of the foundation. They must do so by proving their innocence of religious beliefs, and “backwards thinking” traditions. They must also prove their loyalty, and Dedication to liberal, and secular values. Mu’min gets invited to a chapter initiation party, where he has to choose between his upbringing, faith, and father’s memory; and his life.
